Ordering
Thank you for your interest in Volcano Percussion drums and accessories. To place an order, please e-mail or call. Do to the uniqueness of our products, it’s important for us to discuss the specifics of the items with you, especially on special or custom orders. Keep in mind that being handcrafted for you, you may have to wait for your drums to be completed.
We except all major credit cards through PayPal as well as cashiers checks, money orders, bank drafts and even personal checks after clearing time. After you’ve decided on what your interested in ordering, we will e-mail you an invoice with the total costs including shipping. When you except our offer by contacting us, PayPal will send you a request for payment notification. Just fill-in your credit card number and that’s it. We will ship in-stock items within 48hrs. If you are ordering by e-mail, please do not include credit card data to V.P. Hawaii, that will be handled by PayPal. Always include a phone number and don’t forget your shipping address. Please make all checks out to Volcano Percussion.
Special Orders
If the drum of your choice is not in stock, an initial deposit of 25% is required, except on Custom orders, 50%. This assures the customer a position in our order of completions
In the event of cancellation, before the drum construction has started, there will be a processing fee of 3% on returned deposits. The deposit minus the processing fee will be returned within 30 days.
A notification will be sent to customers at the time construction begins. The customers acceptance reply will continue the drum making. After your acceptance reply, deposit is not refundable.
Normal time of completion is about 60 days per set, if not in stock. Customers will be given an estimated date of completion at time of order. If, for any reason out of our control, order is delayed over 30 working days after estimated date of completion, customer may cancel order, except for Custom orders and request their deposit returned. Deposits will be refunded within 30 days of that request.
Custom Orders
Even though all our drums are original in appearance, occasionally we’ll have a special request by a musician. Changes could result in extra charges. Since types of changes are for you personally, all sales are final. No returns on custom orders. Also, Koa drums are considered Custom Orders, do to the extreme value of their materials.
Shipping
Shipping from Hawaii is handled by UPS Ground, which is Air to Continental U.S.A in 2 to 5 working days. Inspect at receiving time. If drums are damaged, report to courier and return to V.P. Hawaii for replacement.
30 day Money-back Returns
If for any reason a customer decides they’re not satisfied with their purchase, return in excellent condition in same box as originally packed. Call or write before shipping for destination instructions. Customer return shipping is at their own expense and product will be inspected for damage. If damage is found, it could result in a reduction of refund. Allow 30 days for refunds. Refunds for credit are based upon value of items purchased only, not S&H. There are no returns on custom orders, only on inventory & special order items. No returns on foreign orders.
